Articulation delays/difficulties can be the result of many factors. It is common for a preschool age child to have various speech sound errors. If you or family members often have difficulty understanding what your child says or if you are concerned that there may be a delay, it may be beneficial to have your child's articulation screened by a speech pathologist to determine if his/her speech is delayed or developmentally appropriate for his/her age. Your child will be invited to a preschool screening at approximately age 3 years/ 10 months.
